Define Monkeypox and it's Symptoms, Treatment and Prevention

Monkeypox is a rare viral disease that is similar to smallpox. It is caused by the monkeypox virus, which is a member of the same family of viruses as the smallpox virus. However, monkeypox is generally less severe than smallpox and has a lower mortality rate. The monkeypox virus is found primarily in certain regions of Central and West Africa, where it is transmitted to humans through contact with infected animals, such as rodents or primates. It can also be transmitted from person to person through close contact, such as through respiratory droplets or through direct contact with infected bodily fluids. Symptoms of monkeypox  Typically begin to appear within 3 to 12 days of infection and may include fever, headache, muscle aches, and chills. A rash may also develop, which typically begins on the face and spreads to other parts of the body. The rash may eventually blister and crust over.
