Foreshocks
Sometimes before a big earthquake, some small seismic waves are experienced, they are called foreshocks. It is experienced before a big or medium earthquake.
Aftershocks
After a big earthquake, some small seismic tremors or vibrations are experienced due to changes caused by the main earthquake, they are called aftershocks. It is experienced after a big earthquake.
